I was digging through my childhood Hot Wheels collection (most cars are from the 90s with a few of my fathers from the late 60s thrown in). I found a 1977 Trans Am! I didn't know I had one when I was young. Now if only it was black, the shaker scoop a bit larger, and the t-top bar narrower.

It's actually called "Hot Bird" likely due to Trans Am being copyrighted.

being old enough to remember... a lot of the T-tops back then were done by companies other than the OEM , and they had wide centers like that . So actually it's kinda accurate .

Yeah, 1977 cars came with Hurst Hatches which had wide bars. I drive a car that looks like a '78 which has the thin bars. This picture shows the difference.

I'm pretty sure it was made in 1996 (It looks better than I do for the same age :P ). I can't find many Hot Birds that don't have a hood bird.
